As a licensed general contractor and Real Estate Acquisition Specialist for the government, I was reluctant to hire someone to negotiate for me. However, when things went from bad to worse in my negotiations with my insurance company and with the stalls and run-a-round, it was a great relief to turn over the negotiations to a Professional Loss Adjuster.

Our hotel in Seaside, Oregon, suffered a severe windstorm loss in December 2005. We were overwhelmed by the extent of damage and the lack of any help from our insurance company. It was always in a conciliatory and cooperative manner, and it was clear to me that such an approach yielded much better results than a combative or adversarial posture. Moreover, they spoke the same language and understood the same rules as the insurer’s adjuster…We couldn’t have done this without them.
