Greg-Raab1With the Atlantic Hurricane Season starting in a few days, residents along the Atlantic coasts should make sure their properties are storm ready. To help with these preparations, Geoff Williams of U.S. News & World Report put together a list of the actions homeowners should take before bad weather strikes.

Raab adds that standard homeowners policies don't include flood insurance. 'Though limited in what it covers, flood insurance is provided through the National Flood Insurance Program and works differently from standard homeowners coverage,' he says."...
