Greg Raab, a Vice President of Adjusters International, has been named President of the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (NAPIA). A licensed public adjuster, Raab has been an active member of NAPIA for over a decade, having held the roles of Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and chair of Public Relations, Membership and First Party Claims Conference committees.
As President, Raab will work with legislators and state insurance departments on behalf of the association. He has been involved in the settlement of hundreds of property claims for municipalities, towns, school districts, not-for-profits, museums, libraries, manufacturing facilities, retail stores, restaurants, hotels, property management companies and residential clients. As a specialist in complex property damage claims – including loss of revenue, business income and extra expense claims – he has been instrumental in helping clients recover from all types of losses including floods, fires and widespread disasters such as hurricanes.
“We’re proud of Greg’s leadership and participation on the national level on behalf of our profession,” said Ron Cuccaro, President & CEO of Adjusters International and a NAPIA past president. “His in-depth knowledge of our industry and management skills are welcome as we undertake important issues in assisting our clients in their disaster recovery.”
Founded in 1951, the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters advocates for public adjuster education and a high standard of professional conduct and ethics.
With more than 35 offices nationwide, Adjusters International is the largest public adjusting organization in the nation, representing individuals and businesses in their recovery from disasters. In 2016, Adjusters International acquired Tidal Basin Group, a leading disaster preparedness and recovery firm. Adjusters International and Tidal Basin staff have helped governments, property owners, and businesses work through the aftermath of every major disaster during the past three decades, including every hurricane to have hit the U.S. and Caribbean, the Midwest floods, California earthquakes, and terrorist acts such as the Oklahoma City and World Trade Center bombings, and 9/11.
