RPHC

“Please join me in congratulating Rising Phoenix Holdings Corporation (RPHC)’s Digital Marketing Manager & Website Administrator Brianna Moyer for her accomplishment in graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Science in Information Design & Technology from SUNY Polytechnic Institute and earning the Dean’s Award upon program completion!” said RPHC's CEO and President, Ron Cuccaro. “This is exactly the sort of achievement our tuition assistance program was designed to support. We’re very proud of Brianna.”

The Dean’s Award at SUNY Polytechnic is given to a graduate student for a combination of academic excellence, participation in the program, and an outstanding thesis project. The recipient is selected among all students in the Arts and Sciences programs.

Brianna’s thesis/project was titled “Teaching for Transformation – Enhancing Student Engagement, Retention & Recall,” in which she explored the importance of incorporating information and graphic design into visual elements in a classroom setting. The project portion included a prototype of a website and mobile application enabling teachers, educators, and students to create, design, and implement graphically-pleasing classroom materials at little to no cost.

Her research concluded visuals, such as infographics - that incorporate graphic and information design principles and theories enhance learner engagement and collaboration and promote effective facilitation.

Brianna’s daily job duties include online communications, digital marketing, and the creation of digital materials such as visuals, advertisements, brand imagery, and more.

“I had a great experience at SUNY Poly – the program, staff, and resources available were outstanding. SUNY Poly offers online courses, which afforded the flexibility needed with my schedule to work full-time and complete coursework,” said Brianna. “I am especially grateful for the opportunity from RPHC to earn this degree through their continuing education program and feel that not only is it extremely generous, it also improves morale and company culture by knowing I work for a company that wants to invest in their employees and see them succeed.”

Brianna previously earned her Bachelor of Science degree at SUNY Poly (formerly SUNYIT) in Communication and Information Design [CID] graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2012.

Our congratulations go out to Brianna for all her hard work and accomplishments!
