On Monday October 15th, Adjusters International Director Peter Potemkin will give a three-hour training presentation on "An Introduction to the FEMA Public Assistance Program." The training is being hosted by the City of Palm Desert, California, and is open to neighboring governmental agencies. The City has arranged for the training program to coincide with California's "Great Shakeout," an annual event which highlights the importance of preparation for a big earthquake in California. The event is one of the largest in the United States, with over 9 million people signed up to participate in training and drills statewide.
