More than 2,800 county officials from across the country will meet July 24-28 at the National Association of Counties' (NACo) 2009 Annual Conference and Exposition in Nashville to address economic recovery and a wide range of issues affecting local governments and communities. The focus of the conference will be the effective implementation of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, which contains billions of dollars to help support county services and programs. The NACO Technology Summit and other educational workshops and seminars help attendees enhance their leadership and public service skills. Adjusters International's Disaster Recovery Consulting division will be participating in the four-day tradeshow associated with the conference.
The Florida League of Cities Annual Conference will be held August 13-15, 2009, at the World Center Marriott in Orlando. More than 1,000 city officials from across Florida participate in this event, sharing ideas and current information. In response to these challenging times, the League's conference has undergone a makeover to focus on providing attendees with a "hands-on conference" that produces ideas that can be taken back to any city for immediate implementation. As exhibitors at the two-day tradeshow, Adjusters International will have additional opportunities for networking at breaks, lunches and the President's Welcome Reception.
Each year, Texas county officials gather to discuss legislative changes, plan for the future and help attendees improve their ability to provide sound county services and outstanding service. This year the 2009 TAC Annual Conference & Expo, held in Austin, August 24-26, 2009, will present a slate of experienced speakers, exciting sessions and receptions and entertainment designed to promote networking. Included as part of the conference, the two-day tradeshow will allow Adjusters International's Disaster Recovery staff an excellent forum for showcasing our services.
