Adjusters International has hired John Agostino, M.B.A., as Deputy Director of our Disaster Recovery Consulting Division. Working from Adjusters International's offices in Albany, New York, Mr. Agostino's responsibilities include assisting state and local governments, non-for-profit organizations, and Tribal Nations with their disaster readiness plans, with a specific focus on hazard mitigation efforts.
A seasoned emergency management leader, Mr. Agostino brings over 30 years of federal and state disaster relief program experience to Adjusters International. A former Deputy Director of Administration for the New York State Office of Emergency Management, Mr. Agostino has a unique blend of grantee and sub-grantee knowledge that augments Adjusters International's advocacy and support of applicants. In 1987, Mr. Agostino was the recipient of the highest award the FEMA Director can give a non-federal employee for his "Outstanding Public Service to Emergency Management." He is a retired Major of the New York Army National Guard.
