Nadine Safin recently joined Adjusters International, Inc. (AI) as a Financial Reporting Manager, with over twenty years of accounting experience. Nadine brings to AI a performance-driven professional with a strong background in accounting and finance, with hands-on experience in business and financial operations, encompassing all aspects of the accounting cycle.
Her past employment prior to joining AI includes working as an accounting/finance manager for a local manufacturing firm. She was responsible for all aspects of the accounting cycle including preparation of financial statements, improved record keeping, and job cost processes to maintain internal controls, order processing/invoicing and meeting contract delivery schedules. She established strong customer/vendor relationships by meeting delivery requirements, consistent billing and resolution of billing issues and on-time payments for material purchases. Nadine was also employed as a finance analyst for a government contractor, ensuring contract performance goals and budgets were met based on planned rate through regular review/analysis of financial reports.
Nadine has had considerable experience with audits and the requirements set-forth by Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA). Working for engineering firms that held contracts issued by the Department of Defense for various military branches, she was instrumental in passing annual incurred cost audit required by the DCAA by establishing accurate financial statements with supporting documentation for all financial transactions, resulting in strong customer relations and the continued ability to bid on DOD contracts.
In her leisure time, Nadine enjoys spending time with her three adult children and grandchildren, as well as her four-legged friends.
