Heather Stickler is the Vice President of Marketing at Tidal Basin Group and Adjusters International, members of the Rising Phoenix Holdings Corporation family of businesses, where she oversees the marketing, communications, and proposal teams. She has over 25 years of experience serving in marketing, communications, proposal management, business development, program and project management, and engineering technical roles. She brings a wealth of experience in the disaster recovery, emergency management, and engineering industries – serving clients worldwide in all sectors with a focus on government, commercial, healthcare, education, and transportation.
She previously served as Vice President of Marketing and Proposal organizations for well-known emergency management and engineering firms. She builds and leads marketing and proposal organizations to support and execute growth strategies that generate leads, brand awareness, and thought leadership for increased market share and revenue. She develops integrated marketing and business development strategies with key stakeholders that reinforce value proposition, market positioning, core and targeted messaging, and innovative thought leadership.
Heather has a B.S. in Business Management and holds certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP). She is a member of the Forbes Communication Council, CMO Council, Dell Women’s Entrepreneur Network (DWEN), Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), and numerous other industry associations. She has earned numerous honors and awards throughout her career including the Built x Women (BxW) DC Award for her work as the lead civil engineer for a new affordable housing community that was built in SE Washington, DC.
Heather is located in our Alexandria, VA office and resides in Maryland near the water with her husband, two sons in college, and one very large (100+ lb) golden retriever. Her daughter is off on her own now and is an elementary school teacher in Maryland. She spends her free time with family and friends and enjoys Sunday drives with her husband in their convertible roadster.
